Service is terrible. Took delivery of my brand new 33 ft with the outside door not closing/locking correctly. You had to slam it hard. Which is a nuisance to other campers. Was assured that I could just bring it back and and they would replace the door. I called in August for an appointment to fix the door and a couple of warranty things and they couldn't fit me in till weeks later in mid September. Six weeks later they leave me a message that they have submitted the paperwork for the warranty so they can begin work. Six weeks! They still have my camper the second week of November and as far as I know haven't begun work on it yet. I'm making payments on a brand new camper that has been sitting on their lot waiting to be fixed. By the time I get it back, it will be winter and too cold to camp. Won't be doing any more business with them and I suggest you don't either. Now watch them post a group email address and tell me to EMAIL them so they can address my concerns. Really? these people posting are your customers, your GM should be reaching out to them instead of bogus responses to email your customer service team. You have my number and my camper if you want to make this right. And the only way to do that is to call me and tell me my camper is ready to be picked up.
Sorry to say that we have been terribly disappointed with the service end of Camping World in Calera. They kept our motorhome for over three months last year and then tried to charge us a huge amount for things that were covered under the warranty that they sold us! We also had to clean it from top to bottom due to mice that had been living in it while they had it on their lot. This year we called again for warranty work and they suggested that we call the warranty company. Least helpful customer service we have ever experienced! Sad to say that we would rather drive all the way to Florida to receive better service.
Absolutely horrible service department. Took my camper in for a yearly inspection and to fix the stabilizer jacks, but after 4 months and three trips out to the shop. They try to charge an obsurd amount for a hours worth of work.
By far the lowest prices on RVs. I'm happy with the price and the easy financing.
It gets even better, when I go to hook up my RV.... The power cord is missing from the underbelly. Not the expensive tools. Not the camping gear. Nothing except the power cord, and they won't claim responsibility for it. The service manager even claimed that they had an issue with it in the past. Holy cow.
The walk through didn't fire up the furnace, hot water heater or oven. Make sure you have your own check list.
Take your repairs/service somewhere else!
RV hook ups for travelers. Christmas night hard to find anything open. Finding this place was a blessing. Temperature was in the 20s. Nice to have a place to park with electric. Thank you camping world
I haven't dealt with the service side of the business and can only hope it is going to be a good experience.
