It's the only Mexican place in town. Fortunately, it's also really good. Consistently good quality and service.
Really good. We came in and immediately got a table. Our server greeted us and took drink orders. As soon as he walked away we were greeted by another lady who gave us chips and salsa. Drinks were served. He gave us a few minutes to decide on food. And when we we're ready he took our order and food followed a few minutes later. Very quick! He filled our drinks without prompt. It was a very nice experience. Thanks!
I guess I'm the minority here. After moving to calera and seeing this is the only Mexican joint, meh, they're all the same right? I've never left disappointed from a Mexican restaurant until now. Several times. The place itself is fine, staff is great, wait times are normal, food? Not great. I've been several times and get something different each time, but just haven't found anything that isn't bland or that tastes fresh.
I typically don't hesitate to agree to go to a Mexican place, but Zapopan is the exception.
This is an absolute awesome restaurant, with authentic Mexican food. I had them cater my wife’s 50th birthday party. The food from Zapopan was loved by everyone at the party. No Mexican restaurant in the area even comes close to the quality, quantity and flavor of Zapopan ‘s food!
